North Carolina Steering Committee Launch

Recently the Coalition hosted a press conference event to launch the North Carolina steering committee in Raleigh.  The press conference was covered by NBC-17, News 14 Carolina (a statewide television station), and WRAL News Channel 5.
 
Following the press conference, the local coalition steering committee met with the staff of Senator Kay Hagan.

Steering committee members noted that the coalition had just launched the North Carolina steering committee and offered to be a resource for Senator Hagan.  Senator Hagan’s staff said they would certainly welcome additional meetings and that they were pleased to have such a positive and constructive group to work with.
