Proud to be a voice for patients
About the Coalition
Less than a year after the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s passage, it has become clear that the bill has reduced the quality and accessibility of American health care.

Additionally, vast cuts to Medicare have endangered seniors’ access to the care they need, while the Independent Payment and Advisory Board—which will soon empower a board of unelected bureaucrats to cut additional billions from Medicare—will only make matters worse.

But hope is not lost, as polls reflect an overwhelming desire amongst the American people for change in health care, a feeling that appears to be shared by many lawmakers in Washington from both sides of the aisle.

In this time of need, we at CPPR will work harder than ever to advocate for patients and support efforts to repeal and replace the most harmful provisions of the failed health care bill. We will also advocate for much needed changes that were not addressed in the Affordable care Act, like medical malpractice reform and a permanent fix to the outdated SGR formula to help ensure seniors with Medicare can get the care they need.

Most importantly, we will work toward curbing the government’s expanding influence and control over health care decisions, protecting the sacred relationship between patients and their doctors.

We hope you will join our efforts.
